Business Development Tips: What are One-Way Links?

One-way links, also called ‘inbound links’ are links that only point in a single direction, i.e. toward your web page. Examples of this may include a link to your web page from a person’s blog or web article or a link to your web page from your online ad.

Acquiring quality, relevant one-way links from quality, diverse online sources is an important aspect of comprehensive search engine optimization because it helps to identify your web page as a valued (“popular”) source for the information relevant to the keywords and phrases it has been optimized for.
