A ‘text link,’ also called a ‘hypertext link,’ is a “hot” clickable link that points to a specific section of a single web page within the same site, another web page within the same site, or another website altogether.
Text links may be used internally (within the same website) to express a ‘call to action’ such as Contact AIMG using our online form. Other places you may see them are in ‘sponsored links’ associated with ‘paid placement’ advertising programs like Google AdWords or Microsoft adCenter.
